We modernized a public-sector software platform tied to casework, operations, and financial tracking in a setting where reliability and security could not be treated as afterthoughts. The work involved application modernization, workflow hardening, and the introduction of AI-assisted support patterns that could improve speed and usability without sacrificing control. We approached it with the mindset that generative AI only matters when it arrives with governance, careful rollout, and a real sense of operational risk. That is less flashy than sprinkling a chatbot over a workflow, but much better when the system contains records that actually matter.
