Science Without Barriers

We conceived Open-Sci.World as a decentralized science platform for funding open research questions, aligning incentives around transparent contribution, and releasing rewards when replicable work is actually produced. The idea is to make scientific progress easier to fund, easier to verify, and less dependent on closed institutional gatekeeping. It functions as research infrastructure for open science, decentralized funding, and a more merit-aligned model of scientific collaboration. We positioned it as infrastructure for open science in the most literal sense: funding rails, contribution tracking, and research coordination for work that should not have to wait for the slowest institution in the room. It is a nerdy idea with a real heart behind it, which is usually a good sign.
